ABOUT HAPPY SUNDAYS
Among the sea of Summer music festival giants there is grass-roots Long Beach event called Happy Sundays Fest… a FREE multi venue Music Festival highlighting established and emerging local artists. Started by life-long musicians Scott Montoya and Julia Kugel-Montoya, Happy Sundays is a celebration of community and spirit taking place in the Zaferia District. Now in it’s seventh year, Happy Sundays is well on it’s way to becoming the benchmark of musical talent in the Southern California scene, having showcased unsigned acts that have grown to become national treasures.
Imagined as the anti-festival Festival, Happy Sundays aims at promoting local business and local communities with FREE entry to all it’s musical and comedy offerings.
